About Me

I have been playing the guitar for 42+ years and still enjoy 'making' music. Have been working on a solo album (From the Heart of an Otherwise Twisted Man) for 6 years now with no completion date in view as the money end of things is slow. Some of the songs from the album (cd) can be heard on Noblecheque and as I tell everyone I get involved with musically - I'm just a guitar player, nothing more, (the best one on my block......I just happen to live on a very small block).

Started playing music while in junior high school in the 5th grade as a trumpeter. Had 2 very good music teachers who instilled a love for music in me as a youngster- Mr. Price and Mr. Hinton. I believe that playing the trumpet is where I learned what little I know about melody lines and have tried my best to incorperate that knowledge into song form.

I am married with 5 children, all of whom also play one or more instruments (a fact I am very proud of). Currently looking for a 'day job' to support my family and also my music.

The band name I go under or by is "NOBLECHEQUE". First thought of this name while in high school, but never told anyone. Wanted to wait until I formed my own musical group. Funny thing is, I am the 'musical group' as rhythm guitarist, bass guitarist, and lead guitarist, along with the help of a friend (Monty) on drums as the first recordings I had done were done with 'drum loops' and Monty thought he could spice things up a bit.

When I do a 'live' show, I have to play along with backing tracks on cd so people will be able to hear the song as intended, sort of a draw back, but I have had some meager succes with the idea. So, if you want to hear some of what I have done (mind is NOT mixed or mastered by anyone who knows what they are doing......mostly me); check out, you might find something you would like.
